A technically-skilled and performance-driven coach who has made the transition from a successful playing career in top flight French football into coaching Ligue 1 side Angers SCO’s Under 17 squad, successfully passing on values and lessons learned within the professional game to make tangible contributions towards the development of youth players.


With over 765 collective career appearances for the likes of Marseille and Bordeaux, as well as 12 French International Caps and experience playing in the World Cup, has amassed the necessary knowledge and experience to take the next step into a challenging coaching role, having recently attained A and B Licences.

Key Achievements

  • Achieved a third place spot with the French National squad at the 1986 Mexico World Cup
  • Contributed to the French National team’s successful run to win the Intercontinental Cup for Nations in 1985
  • Has made 50 appearances within European Cup games, scoring 20 goals across all campaigns
  • Won a Swiss Championship title and the Swiss Cup with FC Sion in the 1995/1996 season
  • Was a runner up at the 1991 Champions League, only losing out to Red Star Belgrade after a penalty shootout in the final
  • Also won the French Cup with Marseille in 1989
  • Was part of the squad that won three consecutive French Championship titles with Marseille in 1989, 1990 and 1991
  • Won the French Championship and the French Cup with FC Girondins de Bordeaux during the 1986/1987 season
