A forward thinking and highly skilled football coach who has successfully progressed from a playing to coaching career - applying lessons learned as a player in Scotland, England and Iceland to the development of high calibre and well-rounded players.

Currently holds multiple coaching positions as well as continuing to play for Ayr United FC in order to quickly learn and improve as a coach - including working with multiple age groups in the club’s academy, setting up a business to support players looking for new opportunities, and excelling as part of the Scottish FA’s elite performance plan as a Performance School and School of Football Coach.

A passionate, driven and pro-active professional who is committed to providing the next generation of young players elite coaching and a learning platform that allows them to fully realise their potential in modern football.

  • Only Rangers player to participate in the 2006 UEFA U19 European Championships in a squad including Steven Fletcher, Robert Snodgrass and Graham Dorrans, reaching the final against a Spain team that featured Juan Mata, Gerard Piqué and Javi Garcia
  • Selected in the Scotland squad for the 2007 FIFA U20 World Cup final
  • Helped Queen of the South reach the final of the 2007/08 Scottish Cup
  • Played against Danish giants Brøndby IF with FC Haka in the second qualifying round of the 2008/09 UEFA Cup
  • Played against then Premier League side Bolton Wanderers at the Reebok Stadium in the 2009/10 FA Cup with Lincoln City
