Burnley Football Club
Salary £21,000 – 23,000

An exciting opportunity has become available for an enthusiastic physiotherapist to become an important full-time member of Burnley Football Club Academy's Sports Medicine team.

The Academy Physiotherapist will liaise with the Academy Head of Sports Medicine and with Professional development phase physiotherapists to deliver a high-quality evidence based medical support service to all players in the Academy.

Main Responsibilities:
Treatment & Rehabilitation of injured players between U9-U23's
Flexible approach to cover Academy injury clinics / Training session when
Flexible Match day cover for Academy fixtures U9-16's when required
Liaise effectively with the academy coaching staff on a daily basis in order to
keep them informed of player's availability for academy matches and
Contributing to achieving the clubs EPPP Sports Medicine criteria
Organisation of Youth Development Phase & Foundation Phase screening at
part of the process to aid the reduction of injury risks
Maintain accurate records of injuries and medical interventions on Club PMA.
Ensure that all departments are provided within an anti-discriminatory
framework and take account of such issues as race, gender, sexuality,
disability, religion and age
Work in a professional manner which promotes equality for both staff and
Mandatory Requirements:
BSc (Hons) Physiotherapy
Chartered Status
HCPC Registration
Effective and appropriate communication skills u2022 Full Driving License
Computer literacy, including MS office and excel
