POSITION: MEDIA AND COMMUNICATIONS INTERN
Term: 12 month contract
Office: Based at Kick It Out, First Floor, Whittington House, 19-30 Alfred Place, London. WC1E 7EA
Responsible to: Media and Communications Manager
The media intern role looks to provide an opportunity for an individual wishing to progress in the media field of the football industry, and the successful candidate will support both the Media and Communications Manager and Officer to raise the profile of the organisation.
The role, which is a fixed term contract for a period of 12 months, will assist with the development of Kick It Out's website and social media channels, and will input on Kick It Out's communications strategy alongside its funders and partners within the game.
A sound knowledge of the football industry will assist the candidate to enhance relationships with contacts in both the professional and grassroots areas of the game, as well as in the media and to grasp an understanding of the issues of inequality in the industry.
