EVOLUTION SPORTS QATAR- FOOTBALL COACH

Necessary Qualifications-

FA Level 2 and Youth Modules 1 and 2.

Role-

Would work in one of their development centres with children aged 7-16 of all abilities.

Experience-

Experience of coaching abroad is desired but not essential.

Salary of around QAR 7500 – 8500 per month inclusive of housing and 1 return flight per year.

JOB TITLE: LEAD COACH
DEPARTMENT: FOOTBALL DEPARTMENT
REPORTS TO: HEAD OF CENTRE
HOURS PER WEEK: 40 HOURS
HOLIDAYS: MINIMUM 50 DAYS PER CALENDAR YEAR TO BE TAKEN DURINGTHE OFF SEASON BREAK.
LOCATION: AL WAAB/WEST BAY/INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL OF LONDON

Job purpose-

To be responsible for all coaching sessions within the football programme, which
fall in line with the Evo Coaching philosophy, vision and values of the Academy and the Club as a whole.

To work closely with all other coaches within your department, in particular the
Head of Centre.

Key responsibilities-

Responsible for planning and delivering the technical and tactical coaching programme for your respective teams in line with the coaching syllabus.
To compile performance reviews, and deliver feedback to players and parents
both formally and informally as required.
Coordinate and communicate session changes, festivals and events with parents.
To identify and recommend players for movement to a different ability
group.
To support community initiatives as required including PE support, after school
clubs, tournaments and school fayres.

Essential Criteria-

Member of FA Licensed coaches club
FA Level 2 coaching qualification (working towards)
FA Youth Modules 1&2 (working towards)
FA Safeguarding & FA Emergency Aid
Current DBS

Coaching responsibilities-

Responsible for planning and delivering the technical and tactical coaching
programme for your respective teams in line with the coaching syllabus.
Coach and manage your respective teams during matches, festivals and
events.
To evaluate players learning from coaching sessions and matches and ensure that the relevant information is recorded fully on "The Ajax System"
To conduct group, unit and individual video analysis sessions if appropriate.
To be fully responsible for the safety and welfare of all players under your care.

Player Development and Progression-

To compile performance reviews, and deliver feedback to players and parents bothformally and informally as required.
To compile a formal report of conclusions and actions following the performance
review meetings and ensure that these are recorded on the Ajax System.
To liaise on a regular basis with the Head of Centre and Lead Phase Coaches to
ensure that the needs of all players are catered for.

Talent ID and Recruitment-

To identify and recommend players for movement to a different ability group.
To agree any player movement within departmental meetings and inform parents of any movement accordingly.
Attend school/local club fixtures where possible and be active in the recruitment
of players into the Evolution Soccer programme.
Support the recruitment of the Advanced Development and Academy squads, ensuring recruitment is of the highest standards possible.

Safeguarding-

Monitor potential safeguarding children risks and work with the Academy Safeguarding Oufb03cer to promote safer working practice throughout the
Academy.

Understand Academy Safeguarding policy, procedures & best practice guidelines.

Use this understanding to ensure safer recruitment, safeworking practices, appropriate reporting of concerns and contribute positively to an Anti bullying environment.

Other responsibilities-

To ensure that The Ajax System is kept update in all matters relating
to your team.
To keep the Head of Centre fully informed on all matters relating to players
in your teams.
To attend staff meetings as required.
To attend games as required.
To support community initiatives as required including PE support, after school
clubs, tournaments and school fayres.
To be active on social media and post regular images to support the promotion of
the football programme.
To be aware of current trends and best practice in Youth Development.
To continually look for ways to develop and improve our coaching programme.
To attend at least 5 hours of inservice training organised by the FA each year and First aid training for Academy coaches at least once every 3 years.
To undertake Continued Professional Development organised by the Club.
Understand, adhere to and enforce the codes of conduct set by Evolution
Soccer for players, parents and coaches.

Computer literate (with excellent abilities on Word, Excel and ideally Database
knowledge and application).

An understanding of the football in Qatar.

KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE-

ESSENTIAL:

Experience of working with and supporting children/adolescent players during
coaching sessions.
Experience of coordinating activities for a large number of people.
Experience of event management; developing
timetables, working to deadlines.
Experience of working within the football industry.
Experience of working with and supporting children during coaching sessions.

DESIRABLE-

Knowledge of FA regulations in regards to youth team football/academies
