Job Role Details
Soccer Coaches 2018 Season
Spend the 2018 season teaching the beautiful game in the wonderful state of California.
Gain experience working with players of all ages and abilities from 3 year old's to higher level competitive players.
Work under the guidance of the US Youth Futsal Northern California State Director.
Be part of a fun, friendly and supportive team.
All programs operated in the local area.
Enjoy monthly staff socials to experience and enjoy the American culture.
Requirements of all positions
Sports science/coaching related degree (must have already graduated).
FA Level 2 license – minimum (Futsal certificate also preferred).
Minimum of 2 year's experience coaching children of all ages and skill levels.
Clean UK Driving License – Employment dependent on proof of license.
No Criminal Convictions – must pass a background check
Must obtain a visa allowing you to work in the US, this includes submitting paperwork and attending embassy interviews prior to arriving in the US. We will assist successful applicants with this process.
Ability to follow directions
Good communication skills.
Responsible individuals who work well in group dynamics.
This position requires staff to work and live together.
Must have proven ability to cooperate with coworkers and management staff.
Ability to organize and manage multiple coaching sessions a day, while staying positive and energetic, and performing top quality coaching sessions.
Must possess personal computer and android phone to complete the functions of the job.
All staff must attend weekly staff meetings and monthly coaches clinics.
Director of Coaching (Apr – Dec) – In addition to the requirements above and regular coaching responsibilities, the Director of Coaching works closely with the Director of the company, and is responsible for managing full season and summer coaches, reviewing coaches curriculum and developing program curriculum, assisting with program logistics. This is a leadership role. Applicants should have relevant experience and be able to demonstrate a higher level of responsibility.
Full Season Coach (Apr – Dec)
Summer Coach (June – Oct)OPT
Intern Coaches & Sports Management Staff (June – May) – sports management or business development degree
